Hi,
I have just started to explore PEAR. I am using PHP 4.3.11 and so PEAR
automatically comes with PHP. I would like to install PEAR's DB classes.
When I type "pear install db: or "pear install DB" from the command line, I
get the errors:
==============================
Warning: main(Archive/Tar.php): failed to open stream: No such file or
directory
in Common.php on line 23
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'Archive/Tar.php'
(include_path='/u
sr/share/pear') in /usr/share/pear/PEAR/Common.php on line 23
==============================
Same errors occur if I type "pear help".
I don't understand.
Thanks,
Don
