Not sure where to put this because it's not a bug per se; it's more of
an enhancement suggestion or, even more likely, I'm just missing
something obvious, but...
When using Auth, I'm having a really hard time trapping errors. For
instance, I'm using the following code to instantiate the class:
$params = array(
'dsn' => 'pgsql://someone:somewhere@localhost/thisdb',
'table' => 'employees',
'usernamecol' => 'employee',
'passwordcol' => 'securepwd'
);
$security = new Auth('DB',$params);
This works well; however, you can change the dsn to whatever you want
and there is no rejection message other than the standard
AUTH_WRONG_LOGIN. It would be nice if the Auth class had an error
object similar to DB's DB_Error. Or, as I say, am I missing something
fundamental here?
