XMLfo2pdf

Hi there I am looking at using this package to do a possible xsl transformation to display a formatted html layout in a pdf to avoid having to draw the pdf. Its suppose to show a printable view of an entry so i send the data from the database in xml then transform it with the xsl. Anyway it has no documentation apart from APi docs, my question is, does the xsl have to be special fo formatted ? I'm not familiar with fo therefore is there examples of setting one up ?
