Pear::DB automatic cast of booleans

When doing a fetchRow() strings, integers and null values are
automatically casted to their corresponding php values. But booleans are
not casted. Postgresql returns booleans as "f", "t" (or null). How do I
make fetchRow automatically cast booleans to real php booleans?
