I'm running a script based on the pear db libraries that works perfectly on my local linux box but refuses to play ball on one particular remote linux server.
this is the offending line -->
require_once($this->pear_lib); //this is the call to the pear db libraries
$this->pear_lib has previously been defined as -->
var $pear_lib = 'DB.php';
this is the error message -->
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/worldnet-live.com/httpdocs/classes/core/dbase_mod.php on line 103
Fatal error: Failed opening required 'DB.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /home/httpd/vhosts/worldnet-live.com/httpdocs/classes/core/dbase_mod.php on line 103
Have any of you encountered this before?
And precisely what is going on?
Yours
Alex
