OK, I figured out how to debug:
$GLOBALS["SOAP_DEBUG"] = true;
$client->setOpt('trace',1);
And doing so, then doing this:
echo "<PRE>\n";
var_export ($client);
echo "</PRE>\n";
Gives me a ton of info regarding the client object. In particular,
the wire variable, which logs what is send and received. So here's my
PHP4 -> dotNET wire log:
var $wire = 'OUTGOING:
10
24
INCOMING
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Connection: close
Date: Thu, 23 Jun 2005 16:47:10 GMT
Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0
X-Powered-By: ASP.NET
X-AspNet-Version: 1.1.4322
Cache-Control: private, max-age=0
Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8
Content-Length: 367
0
';
Now, is it just me, or is the OUTGOING supposed to have some
headers in it? Here's a [working] PHP4 -> PHP4 web service wire
log:
var $wire = 'OUTGOING:
POST /ws/server.php HTTP/1.0
User-Agent: PEAR-SOAP 0.8.0RC4-devel
Host: 10.47.51.5
Content-Type: text/xml; charset=UTF-8
Content-Length: 450
SOAPAction: "urn:HelloServer#helloserver#sayHello"

So I guess I'm missing my headers, among [possibly] other things?
