1) Is there a default list of "levels" that should be used in the push() call? There's no reference in the docs to any list except MAYBE in the ES::_log() function docs. I'm guessing that the level can be whatever we want but if we want the log to be properly handled by the logging ability, it better be one of the choices the _log() function uses. If there IS a list, there should be better documentation of it. Something better than (in the push() docs) "Error level. This is NOT spell-checked". IMHO
There is no list, you can use anything you want (other languages, for instance)
2) Is it by design that in the levels that I asked about above, the "exception" level which is the most critical level, it is mapped to the PEAR_LOG_CRIT Log constant in the ErrorStack::_log() function? Shouldn't it be mapped to PEAR_LOG_EMERG? According to this url... <http://www.indelible.org/pear/Log/guide.php#log-levels> ... the cascade of error levels has EMERG as the highest. Looking in the sourcecode for the ErrorStack class, PEAR_LOG_CRIT is used twice. For "exception" and "critical" levels. This looks to me to be a bug.
I've also had zero feedback on this - perhaps a bug report is in order?
3) are there ANY better tutorials for ErrorStack? The documentation intro, while helpful, is still confusing to me, and I'm quick to pick up on things, if I do say so myself. Any URLs for "best practices" with ErrorStack?
I have had zero feedback on the docs, feel free to provide diffs to the existing ones, they will be incorporated when time avails itself. Greg
