AutoLoader and Delegate

I am still in search for a nice way to load my classes within a project. Most are seperated page by page or task basis. I discovered AutoLoader however I read in the bug tracker that Delegate will be replacing it. What exactly do both do and will it server the purpose of acting like a URL classloader ? Let me know if my question is a bit vague. I have seen a few frameworks already developing on this idea.
