greetings!
I'm using QF_C to do what I am hoping is a pretty simple thing. I can post
the code I have if that will be useful, just let me know.
what I have is a pretty simple design: what I want to do is have a hidden
form field called "mode" passed in $_REQUEST so that a single php module can
do many things.. I have modes like "add", "delete", "edit",
"display", etc,
and a method in a class that dispatches to the right place based on that
value.
for "add" and "edit" modes, I'd like to use QF_C and have a two step form.
so, in the Page subclass I added a field called "mode" and made it hidden,
and I populate it based on what mode I'm in using setDefaults().
when I click "next step", which should take me to the next page, I notice
that the "mode" field is not being passed via the Jump action, and thus my
dispatch routine doesn't get a value for "mode" and the 2nd page is never
displayed.
I am not sure if this is a problem with QF_C or a problem with my code.. I'm
hoping the latter :) and I'm seeking advice as to how to resolve this
issue.
regards,
J
