Hi, when I try to install PEAR::AUTH using pear install http://pear.php.net/get/Auth I get the following error: The extension 'zlib' couldn't be loaded. Probably you don't have support in your PHP to this extension Php has been compiled with: ./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/a pxs --with-imap --enable-inline-optimization --with-calendar --with-imap-ssl --w ith-zlib --with-gettext --with-xml ; make ; make install When I test it with phpinfo(); I get: zlib ZLib Support enabled 'zlib:' fopen wrapper enabled Compiled Version1.1.4 Linked Version1.1.3 I tried installing the Auth files manually, and adding that directory to my php include path, but then I get the following error in my php error_log: [06-Aug-2002 09:53:08] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class auth in /www/apache/PEAR/Auth-1.0.2/Auth.php on line 144 I have phplib installed aswell (and cant change that, since I have a few users who uses it in production), can phplib and Auth have some issues together? My setup is as follows: linux 2.4.4, Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) DAV/1.0.3 mod_gzip/1.3.19.1a PHP/4.2.2 mod_ssl/2.8.10 OpenSSL/0.9.6a, mysql 3.23.44 I didn't find anything that helped me in the faq, maillists or documentation. Thankful for any advice! //Johan _____________________________________________________ Gratis e-mail resten av livet på www.yahoo.se/mail Busenkelt!
