I think it's a PHP error, I've got some other code that throws this error and worked fine on 5.0.4yes indeed .. it was changed as part of fixing: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=33257 in the commit: cvs diff -r1.652.2.38 -r1.652.2.39 zend_execute.c remember that array_pop() expects a reference to a variable so you need to change this to: $group = array_pop($tmp = $lu_admin->perm->getGroups($params));
