Hello,
I have been on the list for a while... I'm learning about the details of
PEAR DB because I want to use it in a big project for a company that
hired me.
I'm interesting in database independence and I like PEAR DB... but I
can't find a way to abstract the dates management. For example, the way
Oracle handles the dates is a lot different than MySQL and hence, it's
difficult to make programs relatively independent from the RDBMS
So I would like to know if there is a way to get an abstraction of the
dates fields (something like java.sql.Date).
