mail_mime problem decode attachment in forwarded messages

Hi List. i have a major problem with attachments in forwarded messages. they dont get decoded properly. the problem is already mentioned here: http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=2100 but i dont know how i can decode the forwarded message again. i detect the rfc822 message here: if ((strtolower($part->ctype_primary) == 'message') AND (strtolower($part->ctype_secondary) == 'rfc822')) and call a new function there that process this part. i cut this submessages like a normal mail to pieces and save the body and attachment, but base64 attachments arent decoded. so i tried to decode the part again. i tried this: $params['input'] = $part; $structure = Mail_mimeDecode::decode($params); and this: $structure = Mail_mimeDecode::decode($part); but this dont work. can somebody give me a hint how this has to be done. im pretty stuck here :( greetings ch. michallek
