Quickform Controller alternative container?

I am doing some refactoring on an application using Quickform Controller and
have been wonmdering if there is some way to by pass the default
storage/retrieval of form values in the session? What I would like to do is
store the data in an object graph in the session that is saved on the
completion of the last page. Is this possible in QuickForm Controller?
