Because it would complicate, or slow down the code inside LiveUser if we would make this optional. The same goes for restructuring the config array. This would mean that internally LiveUser would have to change to the other structure for every request.
Okay I can imagine. Some form of caching could cure this, but I ofcourse that's not a priority right now. I do think that a more complicated class should be used if that makes it easier for the end-user to work with the class. Although I admit I'm slightly biased here ;-) Jeroen
