Hi, I'm trying to create an exception class that can handles every error, including classic php errros like fatal errors ou warnings. For that, I use set_error_handler("error_handler"); and function error_handler($level, $message, $file, $line) {
    throw new MyException($level, $message, $file, $line);
} It works in a simple php file. But in my application, pear::log is needed by the Propel package and when I use set_error_handler at the beginning of my script, I get a lot of those: 2048 : var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers : /Applications/MAMP/bin/php5/lib/php/Log.php : 45 2048 : var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers : /Applications/MAMP/bin/php5/lib/php/Log.php : 53 2048 : var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers : /Applications/MAMP/bin/php5/lib/php/Log.php : 61 ... and also in Log/file.php: 2048 : var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers : /Applications/MAMP/bin/php5/lib/php/Log/file.php : 27 which I don't get if I Iet php handle errors like it does normally. Any idea what I should do? Replace every 'var' by private/public/protected? Damien
