Are you sure that your connecting/querying stuff is successful? Maybe
you should add some error checking to your code. Example:
<?php
$db = DB::connect('...');
if (PEAR::isError($db)) {
echo 'Doh, something went wrong.'
}
$sth = $db->query('...');
if (PEAR::isError($sth)) {
echo '...';
}
?>
> function retr_comments($db, $reply_to_id)
^^^
It might be smarter to use &$db here.
