I would like to start using changelog/version history stuff for applications I build like what PEAR uses to track version history/changes, etc. What software do they use, and is that available for public use? It's probably really obvious but I haven't ever messed with version history documentation before. Its hanbd maintained. I usually read through all the CVS commit messages since the last release. If you dont know what CVS is then I suggest you google for CVS. There is a free book floating about on CVS. In short CVS is a version management software that tracks the history of our code. Today I would rather go with subversion, but a migration to subversion for @php.net seems to be too large an undertaking that the powers that be think its worthwhile. regards, Lukas
