Hi. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience trying to decrypt files encrypted using Crypt_Blowfish with some other encryption software. I have tested this out with other encryption software (eg. Blowfish Advanced CS [http://www.hotpixel.net/software.html], OpenSSL32 [http://openssl32.sourceforge.net/]) but haven't had any success. I was unable to decrypt files using the other software when they had been encrypted with Crypt_Blowfish, and it seems rather obvious but I also couldn't decrypt files with Crypt_Blowfish that were encrypted using the other software. Has anyone else tried to do this before? Perhaps I need a lower level implementation of Blowfish for decrypting as the software mentioned probably adds its own unique metadata (or something similar). Does anyone know if Crypt_Blowfish is designed to be able work in this way or have any suggestions for getting around this? An overview of the situation is that basically I'm after some way to encrypt data on the server using Crypt_Blowfish and then be able to decrypt the data on a local Windows machine which doesn't have PHP installed. Thanks in advance. Toro
