The new PEAR package Services_ExchangeRates-0.5.3 (beta) has been released at http://pear.php.net/. Release notes ------------- * Re-released with fixed package.xml * As far as I can tell, M. Roch is not activly developing this package, so I will set him as inactive in the project. * Fixed character encoding problems in package.xml (reported by danielc) [mroch] [cross 11/22/2005] * Updated XML Struct to be inline with ECB and UN changes [cross] * Added boolean second argument to convert() to allow the user to disable formatting [mroch] * Added optional parameters to format() to make it possible to change the formatting options on a per-call basis, instead of only in the constructor [mroch] * Added getRates() to return current rates in use [cross] Package Info ------------- Extendable to work with any source that provides exchange rate data, this class downloads exchange rates and the name of each currency (US Dollar, Euro, Maltese Lira, etc.) and converts between any two of the available currencies (the actual number of currencies supported depends on the exchange rate feed used).
