Hi, I am trying to call a web service created on a Coldfusion MX server from php using the SOAP package. Using http://... works fine. However, as soon as I try to use https://... to call the web service, the call fails. For example: $soapclient = new SOAP_Client("http://octopus/com/xyz/authenticate.cfc?WSDL", 'wsdl'); $ret = $soapclient->call("authenticate", $parameters); works fine, but when I try SOAP_Client("http://octopus/com/xyz/authenticate.cfc?WSDL", 'wsdl'); it fails and I see the following Debug Warning (I am using Zend Studio): /usr/lib/php/SOAP/WSDL.php line 511 - file("https://octopus/com/xyz/authenticate.cf?WSDL") - No such file or directory. If I don't use 'wsdl', then I don't see this warning, but I also don't get a response. When I dump the wire, all I see is the Outgoing message but it seems nothing is coming back. Is accessing web services over SSL supposed to work with this version of PEAR::SOAP? If it is, what am I doing wrong in my code? Thanks, Avi -- Avi Schwartz avi@CFFtechnologies.com
