Extracting Zip Files: File_Archive vs. Archive_Zip

Hello - I need to be able to extract zip files and saw that there are two PEAR packages that can do this for me, File_Archive and Archive_Zip. It looks like File_Archive has a lot more to it and therefore would be more overhead? Also, the link to the tutorials returns a blank page. (Note, the native zip functions are not installed in my environment, so using that is not an option.) Any feedback from those who have used either?
