Hello, I am trying to rebuild the install-pear-nozlib.phar archive with PEAR 1.4.6 and place it in the pear/ subdirectory in PHP 5.1.1 so that the newest version of PEAR will be installed with PHP. I have done a checkout of pear-core from CVS, downloaded the necessary PEAR modules (PEAR, Archive_Tar, Console_Getopt) using the -Z option in PEAR, and run make-installpear-nozlib-phar.php, which runs perfectly happily. I then put the generated install-pear-nozlib.phar file in the pear/ subdirectory of the download PHP 5.1.1 source. PHP then compiles completely fine (not that it depends on PEAR for compilation...). The problem I'm seeing is when I go through the "make install" for PHP. I get the following 2 errors: Warning: parse_url(phar://): Unable to parse url in /usr/src/RPM/BUILD/php-5.1.1/pear/install-pear-nozlib.phar on line 276 Fatal error: Error: Unknown phar in "phar://" in /usr/src/RPM/BUILD/php-5.1.1/pear/install-pear-nozlib.phar on line 366 For some reason, it looks like the "phar" stream type is not being registered. Any help pointing me in the correct direction would be extremely helpful. Also, the PHAR archive the script created is about 370K bzip'd, so if anyone needs that to try to figure out what went wrong, please let me know and I'll pass it along. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
