Proxy usage, which way is better ? Im having some performance issues with live server it seems pretty slow to load, and the message div isnt showing but is on my machine. As crap as it is the live server is running PHP 4.2.2 could this be an issue ? <script type="text/javascript"> function callback() {} callback.prototype = { display: function(result) { document.getElementById('info').innerHTML = result; }, displayTitle: function(result) { document.getElementById('title').innerHTML = result; } } var asyncProxy = new musictrade_ajaxrelease(new callback()); //asyncProxy.display(track_rows); </script> On 18/01/2006, at 4:49 PM, Joshua Eichorn wrote:

Hi there ive fallen into a problem, due to the design of a page im having to updating two sets of div layers with content as the title div is seperated from the content div. Is there an easy way to do this ? Its looking like im having to do two seperate method calls with sql queries, however one will run but the other wont.
Whats your setup you have lots of ways you could accomplish this, from return an HTML_AJAX_Action object to writing a custom callback for a proxy. -josh -- PEAR General Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
