Thanks Lukas, sorry i had to dig into the class i had to set a flag to true to parse a file function retrieveXML($url) { $this->_us = &new XML_Unserializer();

        	$this->_us->setOption('parseAttributes', true);
        	$result = $this->_us->unserialize($url,true);
        if (PEAR::isError($result)) {
        	return $result;
        }
        return $this->_us->getUnserializedData();
