I've been building projects with the following technologies
QuickForm
Smarty Templating
I've run into a couple of problems recently where if I turn on client side
validation certain things break.
For example, in safari, i I had client side validation on for a totally
unrelated element the image upload element wouldn't work. BUT if I created
the quickform object outside of a Smarty template system everything worked
fine.
Today I had a problem where IE thought that every email address entered in
was an invalid email but I turned off client and it worked fine. In firefox
the client side validation worked great.
I'm sorry I don't have any code Im not even sure what to include besides all
of the files. I'm sure its something Im doing but I was hoping someone
might've run into a similiar problem or had an idea why this might happen.
For the most part we are dumping the form like so:
$html = $form->toHtml();
$tpl->assign( 'body', $html );
$tpl->display( 'page.tpl;);
If you can think of anything specific youd like to see I can post it.
Sorry its sorta of vague, Im not really sure where to start. Thanks, Mark
