I *could* see the merit for sloppy code, no insults intended to any lister btw... _but_ my team's coding standards _require_ closing tags, as well as no whitespace at file end or start. These coding standards are enforced throughout our projects so its now habit. Why is suddenly everyone and their girlfriend removing the closing ?> tags from PHP library code?Sure, but... (see above ref to sloppy code). What means "sloppy" ?header() and everything what needs it hates it (output before it)
PHP is loose enough as it is, lets not make it easy to get looser in our code is what I say. I want efficiency.-- toggg
