Hi, i have read the email and the documentation on pear.php.net. But i dont know what i must exactly do. Also my english isnt very good. I found this here: Note: PHP_Compat can be used without installing PEAR. 1) Download the package by clicking the "Download" link. 2) Find the file you need. Each function is in its own file, e.g. array_walk_recursive.php. 3) Place this file somewhere in your include_path. 4) Include it, e.g. <?php require_once 'array_walk_recursive.php';?> The function is now ready to be used. At the moment i try syncml with horde. Here i get the information that i must install this package. So and know i must look in the php_combat package and than? Change some codes in horde or somewhere else? Can you give me an example? Thanks marcusIf HTTP_WebDAV_Server actually needs some more basic correction from 4.4 and laters, as memory management clean out, then PHP_Compat can nothing for you. In this case, imho, if it's possible within your project and HTTP_WebDAV_Server allows it, I would advice to jump to the php-5.1 serie, even the recent 5.1.3-RC is better than some debian php4 testing version. -- togggFrom: bertrand Gugger <bertrand@toggg.com> Reply-To: bertrand@toggg.com To: Markus Braun <charmed21muc@hotmail.com> Subject: Re: Compat install (was) [PEAR] HTTP_WebDAV_Server Date: Fri, 10 Mar 2006 14:14:10 +0100 Bonjour, Better don't reply on some old thread, not related, but write a new one.I was meaning, if HTTP_WebDAV_Server only needs some extra functions, then PHP_Compat can help, as described by the package, as tried to apply in this recent quoted thread.Hello, i have a question. I like to install the following pear package: HTTP_WebDAV_Server But he requieres the php version 4.4. But on debian sarge the latest stable version of: php4-cli is: 4:4.3.10-16: alpha amd64 arm hppa i386 ia64 mips mipsel powerpc s390 sparc 4:4.3.10-15: amd64 Only on the testing version exists the 4.4. So must i really install the testing version?see the last discussed http://beeblex.com/lists/index.php/php.pear.general/23238?s=l:php.pear.general Matthew did not tell, but PHP_Compat could help for such things... Here for HTTP_WebDAV_Server, dunno what is needed from php-4.4, could be it's more fundamental and PHP_Compat can nothing... Regards -- toggg
