I have a PHP 5.0.4 installation running on Windows 2003 / IIS 6.
When I run go-pear.bat, all I see in response is the message: "Press any key
to continue."
If I type "pear" and <enter> at the c prompt, all I get is another c prompt.
Here's the history. A couple months ago, PEAR was installed using the online
browser wizard. Although file and folders were created, I don't know if PEAR
ever really worked because no packages were actually required for any of the
apps we ran at the time. I wasn't the only person involved in the setup and
have no idea why it was even set up. In the process of installing a php app
that requires a pear package I discovered the package wouldn't install. PEAR
wouldn't even run. I tried many approaches to try to start fresh and get
go-pear.bat to run the .phar and do what it is supposed to do, but all I
ever see is "Press any key to continue." I suspect the registry needs to be
addressed.
Any insight into resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated!
