The pear.bat came with an absolute path set in the PHP_PATH variable of
"c:\php" I believe. I got it installed in the directory I did by
uncompressing it there. Here is my pear.bat currently (minus the comments):
set PHP_PATH=..\php
set PEAR_INSTALL_DIR=%PHP_PATH%\pear
set PEAR_EXTENSION_DIR=%PHP_PATH%\extensions
set PEAR_DOC_DIR=%PHP_PATH\pear\docs
REM -------------------
set DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR=\
php.exe -q %PEAR_INSTALL_DIR%\scripts\pear.in %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9
@ECHO ON
It works except:
1)I have to move the files that it installs.
2)If I put in the absolute path and put back the %PHP_PATH in front of
php.exe, then I get an error about PEAR not being able to find php.exe
3)It has to be run from the PHP directory.
