I've just copied the latest version of PEAR - # $Id: go-pear,v 1.88 2006/04/28 22:58:25 pajoye Exp $ When I run it from localhost I get this message: Notice: Undefined index: extension in C:\tshirtshop\libs\go-pear.php on line 1067
This is a notice. While PEAR code should not be causing notices it's not fatal. Warnings are also not fatal, but are more serious. Just ignore it for now and continue installing.
which says:
            if (in_array(strtolower($info['extension']),
