Structures_DataGrid BC issue

I am currenty using Structures_DataGrid-0.5.3 in numerous scripts.
Yesterday I upgraded to 0.6.3 and although I received no error, the
DataGrid did not work. The example for 0.5.3 states:
// Define New DataGrid with a limit of 3 records
if (isset($_GET['page'])) {
$dg = new Structures_DataGrid(4, $_GET['page']);
} else {
$dg = new Structures_DataGrid(4);
}
For 0.6.3 it states:
// Define New DataGrid with a limit of 3 records
$dg =& new Structures_DataGrid(4);
The only difference being the &, which when added to existing script, works
correctly.
Question. Am I missing something else, or am I going to have to change
this in all of my scripts (which is a lot) ?
