Hi Lukas,
Im trying to use the session of LiveUser, but after reviewing this..
7 // The session_save_handler options are optional. If they are specified, 8 // session_set_save_handler() will be called with the parameters 9 'session_save_handler' => array*(* 10 'open' => 'name of the open function/method'*,* 11 'close' => 'name of the close function/method'*,* 12 'read' => 'name of the read function/method'*,* 13 'write' => 'name of the write function/method'*,* 14 'destroy' => 'name of the destroy function/method'*,* 15 'gc' => 'name of the gc function/method'*,* 16 *)**,*I got simply lost, on HTTP_Session2 to be able to register a session. I would just do.. HTTP_Session2::set('layout', $name['layout']); Now on LiveUser session, i could not understand how? Would it just be the same as declaring it? Its all their in general. Anyways.. I have this old code which uses HTTP/Session2 (for PHP5), which works perfectly before. I save them using.. HTTP_Session2::set('line_1_1', $record[0][16]); HTTP_Session2::set('line_2_1', $record[0][18]); HTTP_Session2::set('line_3_1', $record[0][20]); HTTP_Session2::set('line_4_1', $record[0][22]); HTTP_Session2::set('line_5_1', $record[0][24]); and so on... When i used LiveUser, i noticed that this code of mine does not work anymore. Can i use them both? Which on my case, it did not work. And if ever, i think i have to use the Session of LiveUser, but i think that is only used for authentication. LiveUser also uses PHP sessions. However afaik you can get both to work together by registering a custom session handler with the 'session_save_handler' option: http://pear.php.net/package/LiveUser/docs/latest/LiveUser/LiveUser.html#methodfactory regards, Lukas-- Louie Miranda (lmiranda@gmail.com) http://www.axishift.com //JSM-W
