Here is the relevant change: http://cvs.php.net/viewcvs.cgi/pear/HTML_QuickForm/QuickForm/select.php?r1=1.29&r2=1.30 I suspect the bug is actually somewhere in Controller (its isValid() method has a hackish special case for dealing with pages that were not seen by the user). Ok, I'll have o look at that too. Thanks. Another problem: Upgrading HTML_QuickForm went fine but upgrading HTML_QuickForm_Controller gives me the following error: luna:/usr/local/share/php/HTML/QuickForm# pear upgrade HTML_QuickForm_Controller Failed to download pear/HTML_QuickForm_Controller within preferred state "stable", latest release is version , stability "", use "channel://pear.php.net/HTML_QuickForm_Controller" to install Cannot initialize 'HTML_QuickForm_Controller', invalid or missing package file Package "HTML_QuickForm_Controller" is not valid upgrade failed I wonder about why stability would be "" since it says stable on pear.php.net/HTML_QuickForm_Controller. What is the problem? I wanted to upgrade before debugging so that I'd be debugging the latest version. That's very odd. Try upgrading yout PEAR package, then trying again. -- Justin Patrin
