Pear command line utility: upgrade-all --alldeps ?

Let's start with an example:

This works fine:
root@shell:~# pear upgrade --alldeps Auth
This is unsupported:
root@shell:~# pear upgrade-all --alldeps
Console_Getopt: unrecognized option --alldeps
So my question is, why is that option not available? Logically it seems like
it should be..
