Hello
Ubuntu package php-pear installs only the basics of PEAR - as the
go-pear installer does. You have to install every package, that you want
to use, yourself. For example "sudo pear install Config". For more
information see "pear help" and the documentation.
PEAR is installled to "/usr/share/php", without PEAR. In directory PEAR
are only sub-classes of the class PEAR, for example PEAR_Config in
PEAR/Config.php.
