i just looked at your code once more ..
the error is the second parameter .. it should be either null or an array of MDB2 types, like array('text', text).

You're right. I changed it to an array of expected types, and it works fine. I'm sure i read in the documentation somewhere that if you set the second value to true, it will automatically define the expected types. :?
