setDefaults not working

This code is my update page which gets an id from the main page. The form validates and if it fails then I run this function: function loadskill($id) { global $mdb2; global $form; $statement=$mdb2->prepare('SELECT * FROM Skills WHERE Skillid = ?', array('integer'), array('integer','text','text')); $result=$statement->execute($id['skillid']); $skillinfo=$result->fetchRow(MDB2_FETCHMODE_ASSOC); $form->setDefaults($skillinfo); $form->display(); var_dump($skillinfo); } So in other words I get the $id and load the correct row using setDefaults... For some reason the first [visible] field 'text' loads but description wont.
