Hi
Which template engine do you use ?
Maybe there's a filter applied to the template vars that strips HTML tags ?
Does $this->var = '<strong>my message</strong>'; makes a bold text ?
I reply to your message in the general list because it's where it should be.

Hi,
I am using PEAR and its template to create my Web Application. Now I have declared a vraible {var} in my master template. I hade used this to display som emessage in it. For example $this->var = 'my message'...It works fine in this case.Now similarly i want to display two messages in it like
$this->var = 'my message' ."<br>".'message 2'. But this <br> does not works in it. It displays message like
my message message2
I have also tried with /n but could not succeeded. So please help me what i should need to do in this case.
Thanks
