Quoting Kevin McCarthy <kemccarthy1@gmail.com>: Thanks. However the call fails account of not finding it defined anywhere. Indeed looking at the included libraries for DB using Postgres I cannot find the definition either. Is it a recent addition to the PEAR distribution? It's defined in DB_common (and has been since the first version of DB), so it's there for all DB drivers. Trivial example: $db->query('SELECT foo FROM bar WHERE id = ?', array(42)); echo $db->last_query; That should print "SELECT foo FROM bar WHERE id = 42" to stdout. If that doesn't work, then something very odd is happening. Adam I misunderstood the first response from Joe as last_query being a methodrather than a property of DB_common. Thanks again all. -- Kevin McCarthy kemccarthy1@gmail.com
