Problem for installing imagick

T try to install imagick but the installation is not complete. The file
'imagick.so' doen't exist.
For the installation, I try :
# pear install http://pear.php.net/get/imagick
downloading imagick-0.1.2.tgz ...
...done: 13,316 bytes
install ok: imagick 0.1.2
But, normaly, the result must be :
#pear install http://pear.php.net/get/imagick
downloading imagick-0.1.1.tgz ...
...done: 12,590 bytes

running: phpize
PHP Api Version : 20020307
Zend Module Api No : 20020429
Zend Extension Api No : 20020731
ImageMagick library install dir? [autodetect] :

Where is the problem ?
