Install PEAR

¡Hi!
I installed in my PC Apache, MySQL and PHP with the WAMP5 package. Now I want to install PEAR.
In the php directory there is: a).- a folder with the name of PEAR that contains the go-pear.phar
program, b).- the program go-pear.bat.
When I executed the program go-pear.bat the installation fails, so I downloaded from http://pear.php.net/go-pear.phar the new go.pear.phar,
replaced the old one by this and executed go-pear.bat again but the following error appears:
ERROR: manifest length read was “3599554” should be “1702065001” press any key to finish.
Please tell what should I do to install PEAR.
