Hi all,
Recently I've played a bit with xdebug 2.0.0RC4, PHPUnit 3.0.6, and PEAR 1.6.1; I'm on a Windows XP platform with PHP 5.2.3
I've upgraded today my version of PHPunit to the lastest 3.1.2
While I tried the pear run-tests command with coverage option (-x switch) I thought I've found a new pear bug (see bug report [1] for history), but it was not.
The reason, given by Sascha Grossenbacher, pointed to xdebug install (see also [3]).
Well, now I've applied changes in my php.ini (used only for CLI usage)
zend_extension=c:\wamp\php\ext\php_xdebug-2.0.0rc4-5.2.1.dll
I don't see xdebug in the PHP Modules list, when I check it with
"php -m" [2] command.
BUT, for example, this command work fine (tests PASSED without FAILURE, and coverage report generated).
pear run-tests -x -p Log
And Now, where *I'm lost*, is :
phpunit --help
This command seems not to detect that xdebug extension is loaded (as Zend Module)
So I can't then run phpunit 3.1.2 with coverage option
--report <dir> Generate combined test/coverage report in HTML format.
So I tried back previous php.ini config with xdebug as a simple extension :
extension_dir = "c:/wamp/php/ext/"
extension=php_xdebug-2.0.0rc4-5.2.1.dll
A check with "php -m" [2] give me now the xdebug in PHP Modules list.
AND phpunit --help, show me the missing --report switch that allow test/coverage run
BUT, pear run-tests -x -p Log does not run anymore.
So, If someone, can help me and tell me what's wrong. Xdebug ? PHPUnit ? PHP CLI ?
Thanks in advance, to read me, and perharps to help me to understand.
Regards
Laurent Laville
