Hi,
I have 'pear' on my Ubuntu Feisty Fawn OS. I would like to install
'pecl_http'. I found it for *nix at :
http://pecl.php.net/package/pecl_http
(I used php_http.dll on my windows xp OS, and it worked fine, but I have no
idea how to do this on Ubuntu).
My question: How do I install pecl_http? I tried
pear install pecl_http
but it told me that pecl_http could not be found. I searched the
repository, and it wasn't there. However, I know it is at the url above,
and I'm a bit confused as to why pear is not aware of it.
Can someone help me install this module? I'm truly a newbie, this is my
first post to the forum, and I have no sense of direction on this.
Thank you,
Matt
