Hello,
I turned display errors on to see if that helped and I still got no
output.
I had log errors on, but my log file shows no entries either.

The recommendeted php.ini has display_errors on off, which means that
errors are not displayed. This setting is not really useful for a
development environment, set it to On or configure a logfile.
