Hi all,
I've used the SOAP extension with great pleasure, as it always seems to
work just fine when you're using the PEAR SOAP client class.
However, I'm trying to make the CXF wsdl2java utility work with the WSDL
files generated by PEAR SOAP and I'm having major problems. The reason
is that PEAR SOAP uses the RPC/encoded encoding which apparently is the
oldest form and really no longer supported by other implementations.
My question is, can I make the PEAR SOAP package use a different form of
encoding? Apparently, there's five of 'em:
1. RPC/encoded
2. RPC/literal
3. Document/encoded
4. Document/literal
5. Document/literal wrapped
I've googled a lot and found that I should be able to do something like
this:
$options =
array('style'=>'document','use'=>'literal');
$server = new SOAP_Server( $options );
However, regardless of these options, the generated WSDL still seems to
specify the RPC/encoded format.
Am I missing something or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Cheers,
Marc
