The new PEAR package PEAR-1.0b3 (stable) has been released at http://pear.php.net/.
Release notes
-------------
* fixed "info" shortcut (conflicted with "install")
* added "php_bin" config parameter
* all "non-personal" config parameters now use
environment variables for defaults (very useful
to override the default php_dir on Windows!)
