DataObject - Multiple Databases

Hi All, I've not found anything in the list archive so I presume this question has not been asked before. I'm having trouble getting DataObjects to work with multiple databases. In my database configuration .ini file which pass to createTables.php I have two databases defined with database_db1 and database_db2 as mentioned in the documentation. However having "database_db1" rather than just "database" causes problems when DataObjects not being able to suss out the DSN, thus failing to include the right low-level database layer from DB/.php. So, my question is how do youreally work with multiple Databases via DataObjects? Or is it a bug in the current CVS version 1.47 ?
