The new PEAR package Net_FTP-0.5 (alpha) has been released at http://pear.php.net/.
Release notes
-------------
This is the first rellease of Net_FTP. Until now, it only contains the basic class and the
configuration-file. The API-documentation will be available soon on http://www.schlitt.info. There may be problems transfering a
great amount of files to an ftp-server. When you recieve problems with this, please contact a
maintainer for bug-report. BEWARE, THE API OF THIS CLASS MAY CHANGE IN THE NEXT FEW RELEASES!! I
WILL CHANGE STATE TO beta, WHEN API IS FIXED!

This class allows you to communicate with FTP-servers more comfortable that the ftp-functions of
PHP. Especially you can up- and download recursively.
