Hello Craig,

This is because the default channel of pyrus is, by default,
pear2.php.net. To install packages from another channel, you need to
specify it or its alias:
$ pyrus install pear.php.net/$packagename
or
$ pyrus install pear/$packagename
"pear" is the short name/alias of the pear.php.net channel.
